Jill - ReAction Athletic Therapy
Jill graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. She became a certified athletic therapist in 1999 through the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association. As an athletic therapist she is able to assess and treat any injury to muscle, bone, or joint. Previously Jill has been the team therapist for junior hockey and football, university basketball, rugby, wrestling and football teams as well as currently being a part of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sport Medicine Team. She started her business ReAction Athletic Therapy in 2000 when she moved to Pincher Creek.
Jill became a personal trainer at 19 years old and has worked in fitness centres off and on since that time. She joined the team at Cross Fit Pincher Creek in 2011.
She loves Cross Fit because it is functional exercise. Movements we do or may need to do in our daily life. Typical Cross Fitters want to learn better technique in order to lift more weight or master a gymnastic move. Other fitness programs are just about fatigue. CrossFit is about moving well.
