I have always been active growing up from soccer and basketball in high school to 2 years of volleyball at a college level. then I went on to school for X-ray and now work part time at the hospital in Pincher Creek. In 2010 I got my Exercise Theory, Group Exercise and Resistance Training Certificates through the AFLCA. I started coaching bootcamps back when Paula had Fusion Fitness. I did that for 2 years and then I lost my mojo and fell into a rut. I did a small stint in body building and very quickly realized that it was just not for me.  I then attended a workshop for the AFLCA, you might think that inspired me but it did just the opposite. I realized I was teaching for the wrong organization and that CrossFit was what I needed to be doing. I was 5 months pregnant when I became absolutely obsessed, got my CrossFit Level 1 Certification at 8 months pregnant and haven’t looked back! I also have my Precision Nutrition Certificate which I completed in March of 2013. And this past January I finished Precision Nutrition’s Lean Eating Program.The reason I love CrossFit so much is because you are always working towards something. There is always a goal to be set … and reached, whether it is hitting a new PR on a lift or getting that first muscle up.

Other activities I always look forward to are spending time with my family, taking my sweet Penelope swimming, trying out new recipes, some new DIY project and my meditation…knitting.
