Wendy does not come from a fitness background originally. She played a little basketball in high school and then did not participate in any sports throughout college and early career life. She works in a sedentary career and joined Paula’s 6am bootcamp in 2011 to try to stay in shape, but found it a chore until the gym converted to a CrossFit box in 2012. Suddenly results were about strength and weight lifted not about weight lost. Having measurable progress and achievable goals changed everything. Feeling strong is addicting and when you are surrounded by a community of likeminded people it is very empowering. Wendy became very passionate about Crossfit and strives to perfect her lifts and movements and share her passion with other crossfitters. In January 2014 she took her Crossfit Level 1 and started coaching part-time. She then took the CrossFit Mobility course in March 2015.
